The Audi e-tron Sportback has become Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron with the facelift. Extensive technical changes overshadow cosmetic revisions.
The Q8 Sportback e-tron comes with the same bigger battery pack options as the SUV model – 89 kWh and 106 kWh. Similarly, 50, 55, and S are the variant options, from which the base variant gets the smaller battery and the other two variants share the bigger unit. The WLTP range figures are higher across the range — 505 km (313 mi) in 50, 600 km (373 mi) in 55, and 513 km (319 mi) in S.
The Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron has an updated dual-motor powertrain with a new boost mode. It develops 250 kW (335 hp) in boost mode and 664 Nm (490 lb.-ft.) of torque and allows a higher top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). Its charging power is also higher – 150 kW. The Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron and SQ8 Sportback e-tron also offer a higher charging power – 170 kW.
The Q8 e-tron Sportback should reach the U.S. in the first half of 2023.
